Qopper Stories’ Artisanal Collection is a timeless classic that brings together aesthetics and functionality to last for life. Each and every piece is handcrafted by master coppersmiths in solid copper using the same traditional hand-spinning techniques that were first used over 100 years ago. This gives each product a unique character and a story – a testament to the artisans who shape copper into exquisite pieces.

All our copperware is lined by hand in the age-old traditional way using hot molten tin. This creates a far superior bond with the copper than modern-day electro-tin plating techniques which can flake and expose the water to copper. Unlike non-stick cookware that raises concerns about the presence of harmful PFOAs on its pan coating (perfluorooctanoic acid), the natural and pure tin lined in Qopper Stories’ copperware is not harmful to your health after long-term use. Tin is a great conductor itself: it doesn't interfere with the cooking performance of copper cookware. Tin’s smooth crystalline structure makes it naturally low-stick: a small amount of oil or butter, combined with the right cooking temperature, is enough to release cooked foods from tin effortlessly. When applied by hand over an open flame – as our master craftsmen do – tin bonds to the copper, ensuring your cookware a very long life when properly cared for.

Being 100% recyclable, copper is the most sustainable option in the kitchen. It is estimated that 80% of all the copper ever extracted is still in use in some form today!

On top of these, copper’s natural oxidation makes it extremely resistant to bacteria and corrosion in a natural way - and results in the rich patina that many copper connoisseurs love and cherish.

The exquisite handles riveted on the Qopper Stories Artisanal Collections are in solid bronze and the lids are crowned with a beautiful bronze vegetable figurine, casted by our master artisans.

Each piece in our collections is designed to seamlessly transition from the stovetop into the oven and to finally serve at the table and be proudly displayed to adorn any kitchen, when not in use. 

We love the imperfect perfections of our handcrafted objects. Each piece is painstakingly prepared by hand from solid single sheet of copper after countless steps of manual processes. Each piece is unique. They might have minor abrasions, imperfections or scruffs as a result.  These are considered normal and do not have any impact on the performance or durability. They only add to the unique character of the handcrafted wares and testament to the craftmanship.

The profession of coppersmith is an art which has become rare and on the verge of dying…we cherish this beautiful tradition and work hard to revive it…
